You are not alone!

MY PERSONAL INVITATION TO YOU...

Sweet friend,

Have you ever struggled with insecurity or rejection? Have you felt insignificant to God and to others? Has your life played out like a broken record of pain? Have you believed you would never experience true love or fulfillment? Have you lost sight of who you are and what your purpose is?

Sweet friend,

Have you ever struggled with insecurity or rejection? Have you felt insignificant to God and to others? Has your life played out like a broken record of pain? Have you believed you would never experience true love or fulfillment? Have you lost sight of who you are and what your purpose is?

For much of my life, I felt I could never measure up, and many of my relationships were dysfunctional. This led me to believe I was unworthy of a fulfilling and joyful life. The good news is that Jesus pursued me passionately, met me in my pain, and refused to leave me broken. His work in my life brought about a personal transformation that healed my emotional wounds, liberated me from bondage, and enabled me to walk confidently as the beloved daughter of God I was created to be.

The result? A life of passionate pursuit of God as He continues to passionately pursue me. My greatest desire is to know God more intimately and to become more like Christ with each passing day. As I experience a greater measure of His presence and freedom, I long to reflect His love and transformational power to those who are hurting, broken, and alone.

If you desire healing, deeper intimacy with God, true fulfillment, and the ability to walk in your God-given purpose, you have come to the right place. The truth is, painful seasons often lead to transformation if you allow God to have His way in you. God desires to meet you wherever you are, but are you willing to allow Him access to every aspect of your life so He can heal and transform you? Are you ready to surrender to His lordship and trust His plan for your life?

For those who have felt lost, rejected, invisible, or burdened by the pain and brokenness of this life, this is a safe place to land. I invite you to join me on the journey toward greater intimacy with God. Let’s invite Jesus into our suffering so He can restore what we have lost and redeem our lives to the fullest. Remember that Jesus is near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Friend, He is here, ready to tend to our hearts. All we have to do is bring our shattered lives to the foot of the cross and allow Him to transform them into something breathtakingly beautiful.

As He does, He invites us to follow Him into a hope-filled future marked by His grace and goodness as we live fully surrendered, embrace our identity as children of God, and make an impact for His kingdom. Will you join me? Let’s lock hands and run our race purposefully, passionately, and wholeheartedly for God.

Your friend and co-laborer in Christ,

I'm Shannon,

Let me introduce myself. I am a small-town girl, a devoted wife, the mother of two adult boys, and a typical middle child. I love all things baking, design, home, travel, and hiking. I am a passionate writer, a dependable friend, an encourager of God’s people, a Bible lover, and a follower of Jesus. Most importantly, I am a beloved daughter of the Most High God—His favorite daughter, in case you didn’t know. (Shouldn’t we all think we are God’s favorite?)

The truth is, I am secure in God’s love and know who I am in Christ. However, this was not always the case. Having endured deep, life-altering wounds from abuse, abandonment, rejection, and insecurity, I spent most of my life trapped in brokenness, feeling unworthy of love and believing I was invisible to both God and people. Despite growing up in church, God always felt distant and impersonal. During one of the hardest seasons of my life, I reached the end of myself. Jesus met me there and began to transform my life. I emerged from that season a completely different person—someone free from shame, guilt, condemnation, insecurity, fear, anger, inadequacy, and distrust of God. For the first time in my life, I was living as the person I was created to be.

Because of who Jesus is and what He has done for me, my goal in life is to reflect His love, grace, and mercy to those I encounter. I am passionate about serving others and do so through local ministry opportunities within my community and church. These opportunities include teaching small groups, serving on ministry teams, and volunteering in community outreach. One of my greatest passions is discipleship. I often find myself in the trenches of life, co-laboring with women as they learn to walk confidently as beloved daughters of God. Through writing, I aspire to illuminate God’s message for readers, igniting transformation that leads to a thriving relationship with God and an abundant life in Christ. Above all else, my highest priority is to worship God and keep my heart intertwined with His. The Lord is truly my portion and the love of my life!

WELCOME

God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.
